Originally from Dallas, Texas, Flutist Melinda Wade-English previously lived in Annapolis, Maryland where she performed with the Washington Chamber Orchestra, Live Arts Maryland Orchestra, and the Young Vic Gilbert and Sullivan Orchestra in Baltimore. She has been a featured soloist in India, Canada, Mexico, France, and Belgium, and has performed with the United States Army Field Band in many of the finest concert halls throughout the world. Dr Wade-English earned her Doctorate of Musical Arts degree in Flute Performance from Texas Tech University. She has taught many fine young flutist of all nationalities in her private studio and has taught at Texas A&M at Tarleton, Salisbury University, Anne Arundel Community College, and the United States Naval Academy. Melinda is currently living in the Texas Hill Country in Kerrville!
